WILTSHIRE (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — This year’s rain-soaked WOMAD Festival in Wiltshire saw its high points from performers, including a highly acclaimed performance by soul legend Isaac Hayes.
Ths festival, which took place from July 27-29, suffered from torrential downpours and muddy fields all weekend, at its new location in Charlton Park near Malmesbury in Wiltshire.
The entire U.K. festival scene has suffered badly from the recent surge of bad weather in central and western England.
The WOMAD festival, the brainchild of rock legend Peter Gabriel, has been held in 27 different countries around the world in its 27-year history.
