Harris New Director Of Marketing At John Labatt Center

Global Spectrum Facility Management has appointed Dave Harris as the new director of marketing of the John Labatt Center. Harris joins Global Spectrum from Daktronics Canada, where he was territory manager since 2002. In his new role He will oversee all of the marketing and public relations of the 10,000-seat multi-purpose arena and create new opportunities for all of the events in the facility, which is also home to the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League.

“As we continue to grow and expand our market further into Western Ontario, we will rely heavily on Dave to help us develop new opportunities for the shows we bring to London,” said General Manager Brian Ohl. “He brings a tremendous amount of knowledge and resources to us to help us achieve our goal.”

Harris spent several seasons working in the Ontario Hockey League with Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds (1990-97), Mississsauga Ice Dogs (1997-99) and Toronto St. Michael’s Majors (2000-02). He provided vital assistance in writing the bid for the 2005 Mastercard Memorial Cup, which will be hosted by the London Knights at the John Labatt Centre in May. –Jane Cohen and Bob Grossweiner
