LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Coachella promoter Goldenvoice is reportedly working on a three night mega concert featuring rock legends Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Neil Young and Pink Floyd's Roger Waters.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Goldenvoice is in the final stages of negotiations for the event, which will take place from Oct. 7-9 at the Empire Polo Field in Indio.
If they pull it together, this will be the first time that these acts have shared a stage, despite their long and storied careers.
As impressive as the lineup is, the guarantees are equally eye-popping with one source telling Billboard that the
top headliners on the bill are guaranteed as much as $7 million each, with the possibility of a second weekend still being discussed.
“It's so special in so many ways,” Neil Young's longtime manager, Elliot Roberts told the Times. “You won't get a chance to see a bill like this, perhaps ever again. It's a show I look forward to more than any show in a long time.” – Staff Writers
