(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Global Spectrum and University Partners International (UPI) have been selected by the University of Central Florida in Orlando to manage the 5,322-seat multipurpose UCF Arena, which opened on campus in l991. Global Spectrum named Rodney Reese as its general manager of the facility.

"We are pleased to be working with the University of Central Florida, and we are committed to help the University increase the number of ancillary events at the UCF Arena. We will work closely with all of our other university facilities as resources to maximize events and expertise to ultimately benefit the UCF and UCF Arena tenants, participants and customers," said Global Spectrum president Michel Sauers.

The UCF Arena is home to the Golden Knights men's and women's basketball teams as well as volleyball and numerous other special events and attractions. The UCF Arena also features VIP Skyboxes, meeting rooms, locker and dressing rooms, a training room, kitchen and four concession stands.
