TEL AVIV (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Eight concert-goers were injured at a Tokio Hotel concert when a glass gate shattered at the Tel Aviv Trade Fair and Convention Center, Israel News reported.
The incident occurred before the concert when enthusiastic fans were waiting to get inside. A glass gate in front of the venue reportedly shattered, lightly injuring the fans, all between the ages of 14-16.
Paramedics treated most of the injuries on site but three girls were reportedly transported to the hospital for further care.
The concert was the result of a petition by Israeli fans, who reportedly managed to gather more than 2,500 signatures on a petition which was relayed to the German band by the Israeli Embassy. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
