Old and new friends gathered on June 30 at the Fillmore Auditorium in San
Francisco for the premiere of the A&E Network's 1000th
Biography on the life of concert impresario Bill Graham. The film, produced
by Clear Channel Entertainment's Black Canyon Productions television
unit, will air nationally on July 15 at 8 PM (EST) with additional airings on July 16
and July 21.
The screening was held at the legendary
concert hall where Graham promoted shows by rock icons
including the
Grateful Dead, The Doors and The Allman Brothers, to
benefit the Bill Graham Foundation, a non-endowed public charity
dedicated to
continuing the philanthropic vision of Graham.
