Former Caravan Of Dreams President Purchases Promotion/Event Company

Jerry Thompson, former president of eclectic live music club Caravan of Dreams in Fort Worth for 10 years, has purchased Promoter Line, Inc., the promotion and event company he helped found in 1993. Caravan was booted from its space in Sundance Square to make room for a restaurant displaced by a freak tornado that hit the city two years ago.

Thompson told CelebrityAccess he would continue to book large shows into Bass Performance Hall and promote and produce festivals in the Fort Worth-Dallas market. On the books is a "Chevy Thunder in Sundance Square" festival for the first weekend in April to coincide with the Winston Cup Race held at Texas Motor Speedway.
