Facebook 2015 Year In Review


MENLO PARK, CA (CelebrityAccess) — Facebook is taking a look back on the moments in 2015 that moved and inspired people to take action in Facebook’s annual Year in Review. The most talked-about topics this year show that Facebook is one popular place where people connect to the things they care about and to discuss what's happening in the world.

In addition to the global topics, Facebook released lists of the most talked-about entertainers, TV show and movies, as well as the most talked-about US topics overall.

Together, their lists paint a picture of what the world was talking about in 2015 across the entertainment industry. Some highlights include:

  • Ed Sheeran topped the list of most talked-about entertainers, followed by Taylor Swift at #2, Kanye West at #3, Nicky Jam at #4, and Wiz Khalifa rounding out the top 5.

  • Game of Thronesruled the small screen as the most talked-about TV show, while Star Wars: The Force Awakens led the list of most talked-about movies.

  • Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Manny Pacquiao were the most talked-about athletes of the year following their highly-watched fight in May.
