Eve Signs With CAA For Representation


LOS ANGELES (VIP NEWS) — Rapper Eve has signed with Creative Artists Agency for representation in all business areas.


Eve's film work has included roles in "Barbershop," "XXX," "The Woodsman," "Barbershop 2: Back in Business" and, most recently, "Whip It" and Chris Rock's Sundance documentary "Good Hair." She next appears in Noel Clarke's crime thriller "4.3.2.1," which premieres in May at Cannes.


On TV, Eve most recently guest-starred in several episodes of "Glee," and she has appeared on "Third Watch" and "Numbers." Her self-titled UPN sitcom ran from 2003-06.


Eve's long-delayed fourth album is due this year, and she also is re-launching her fashion line, Fetish, with People's Liberation founder Danny Guez.


The rapper-actress' last album in 2002, "Eve-Olution," has sold 635,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan, and it debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200. Eve's 2001 set, "Scorpion," has sold 1.5 million copies and debuted at No. 4; and her 1999 Ruff Ryders/Interscope debut, "Let There Be… Eve," bowed at No. 1 and has sold 2 million copies.


The artist is additionally repped by Jon Shank at Azoff, Geary, Paul Management and attorney Aaron Rosenberg at MAFG.
