Electric Light Orchestra has cancelled its first North American tour in 15 years. It was scheduled to kick off Sept. 7 in Albany, N.Y.
Group frontman Jeff Lynne's manager, Craig Fruin, blamed the cancellation on economic and logistic factors.
"ELO wanted to put on the grand spectacle with a massive stage and light show that the group is known for," he said. "And that's just not logistically or economically possible in this marketplace at this time."
