Eddie Money in Skiing Accident

While skiing with 3 of his sons during a tour that included several ski stops, Eddie Money took a spill and broke his lower left leg in two places. The accident took place while playing Waterville Valley ski resort in New Hampshire. While injured that morning and treated by mountain personnel, Money went on to do his show that night to a sold out crowd. Afterwards, he was taken to a local emergency room where he was X-rayed and wrapped temporarily. He finished out the run, which included three more shows, sometimes going on stage with crutches and sitting on a stool or being wheeled out in a wheel chair. He was seen back in Los Angeles by his doctors and fitted with a walking cast. When asked if he was hot-dogging up on the mountain, he said, "It's the Olympics; they get to me". He has had to cancel no shows, and his injury will not interfere with his touring schedule.
