Def Leppard Postpones Remaining Dates On Winter 2016 Tour

(CelebrityAccess) — British rock band Def Leppard have postponed all of the remaining dates on their current Winter 2016 tour, citing illness.

All shows from Feb. 2 (San Antonio, TX) through Feb. 17 (Allentown, PA) will be rescheduled including the previously postponed dates in Greensboro, NC (Jan. 27) and Orlando, FL (Jan. 30).

No word on when the dates might be rescheduled, but a statement from the band said to expect details soon. The group's latest single "Dangerous" has found some traction on classic rock format radio.

While the band did not officially specify the nature of the illness, drummer Rick Allen said that the band's 56-year-old frontman Joe Elliott was suffering from vocal problems.

"The doctor basically said that if Joe continues to sing without resting his throat for a month he might do permanent damage," Allen wrote on Twitter. – Staff Writers
