Dead & Company Reschedule Shows

(CelebrityAccess) — Grateful Dead revival group The Dead & Company have rescheduled a series of shows that were canceled when the band’s guitarist John Mayer underwent an emergency appendectomy last week.

With Mayer on the mend, the band announced that they are now slated to perform at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on February 24; the BB&T Center in Sunrise, FL on Feb. 26th; and the Amway Center in Orlando, Fl. on Feb. 27th.

The newly rescheduled dates will follow a short run in Mexico for the band, which consists of Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart along with Oteil Burbridge, Jeff Chimenti and John Mayer, and precede the duo tour of Bob Weir and Phil Lesh in the Spring.
