David Cassidy Hospitalized With Organ Failure

(CelebrityAccess) — "Partridge Family" star David Cassidy is in grave condition and suffering from multiple organ failures in a hospital in Florida.

According to the TMZ, Cassidy, 67, was admitted to the unidentified medical facility earlier this week.

A spokesman for Cassidy told the Post that the singer was "conscious" and "surrounded by family."

According to the post, Cassidy is suffering from liver and kidney failure and was in need of a transplant.

In February interview with People Magazine, Cassidy revealed that he was battling dementia after he struggled with song lyrics and fell off stage during a concert in Los Angeles.

"I was in denial, but a part of me always knew this was coming," Cassidy told People magazine.

"I want to focus on what I am, who I am and how I’ve been without any distractions. I want to love. I want to enjoy life," he added.
