Dave Grohl Reups With Universal Publishing


Los Angeles, CA, (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — David Renzer, Chairman & CEO, Universal Music Publishing Group, today announced the the renewal of an exclusive publishing agreement with Foo Fighters frontman, Dave Grohl.

The announcement comes on the heels of the release of the Foo Fighter’s sixth studio album, Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace (RCA) which already debuted No. 1 on the UK album charts. The first single "The Pretender" is currently No. 1 on Billboard’s U.S. Alternative/Modern Rock chart and No. 2 on the U.S. Mainstream Rock tracks.

As founder and leader of the globally multi-platinum and multiple Grammy winning Foo Fighters, from his work as Nirvana drummer, to stand-in drummer for Queens Of The Stone Age, Tenacious D., Killing Joke and Nine Inch Nails, Grohl has applied his Midas touch to every project he's ever undertaken.
