CONFERENCE NEWS: iebaLIVE! Confab Set & AADC Changes To Aspen Live


(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The International Entertainment Buyer’s Association 34th annual iebaLIVE! confab is set for October 9-13 in Nashville at Hilton Suites with panel topics ranging from getting your artist on the road to ticketing and marketing strategies to industry consolidation.

Agent Steve Moore of Moore Entertainment Group will moderate the “From Demos to the Road” panel which will explore the case study of artist Joe Nichols. Panelists include his agent Stan Barnett (CAA), record label president Tim DuBois (Universal South), his manager John Lytle (Lytle Management) and Nichols, himself.

There will also be two 45-minute Roundtable sessions covering a variety of topics: The Advance, The Rider & The Tour Manager, Casino Buying, Corporate Buying, International, Label Support, Marketing & Publicity, Producer Perspective and Risk Management & Insurance.

Promoter Bill Reid will moderate the always heated topic of industry consolidation with panelists Mike Evans (SMG), Arny Granat (JAM Productions), Jim Mallonee, House of Blues Concerts, Orlando), Louis Messina (AEG/The Messina Group) and Bob Roux (Clear Channel Entertainment-Houston).

AADC Changes To Aspen Live

(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Aspen Artist Development Conference (AADC) has changed it name to Aspen Live to reflect its focus more on live entertainment.

This year's event is confirmed for December 9-11.Over the next two weeks, more conference information will be available at www.aspenconference.com. Registration will start right after the Labor Day weekend.
