Concert Promoter To Pay For Concert That Never Happened

COLUMBUS, OH (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Ohio Attorney General announced he is suing a promoter who sold tickets to a concert that never happened, Central, Ohio's 10TV News reported.

Police were called to the concert that was never to happen, last month because hundreds of fans paid for tickets expecting to see the band Los Temerarios. The show never happened.

Manuel Torres, the concert promoter, is being accused of scamming the fans of the band out of their money. Los Temerarios commented "We were not aware of this event and had absolutely no involvement with the promoter or the company."

The band never showed up and the attorney general's office said the concert was never booked, 10TV News reported.

The suit seeks ticket amount reimbursements for purchasers and a $25,000 fine. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
