COMSTOCK, NE (CelebrityAccess) — After a six year break, organizers for the Comstock Music Festival are reporting that the event is back on this year.
Slated for July 23rd-24th at 2nd Wind Ranch in Comstock, Nebraska, the two-day campout festival advertises a bill that features Jackyl, Randall Zwarte Band, Collin Raye and the Charlie Daniels Band, with additional acts TBA.
The festival is being organized by Henry Nuxoll, who founded the event in 2000. However, he ran into financial challenges in 2008 and after pleading guilty to writing bad checks to vendors he was sentenced to serve four years' probation and pay nearly $100,000 in restitution.
In a press release announcing the return of the festival, organizers said that the goal of the festival was to "continue our original mission" and to "pay back those we owe." – Staff Writers
