Coachella Takes Shape

MEXICO CITY (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Today's the day Coachella fans have been waiting for, as Goldenvoice's Paul Tollett is set to announce details on the lineup at a press conference in Mexico City of all places.

Among the names being bandied about as features on the bill you will find an eclectic range of performers, including Verve, the Raconteurs, Jack Johnson, My Morning Jacket and Rilo Kiley.

Coachella, if you've been living under a rock is one of the premier festivals in the U.S. season. Held annually since 1999 in Indio California, the event has become renowned for its diverse lineup and high production standards.

This year, Goldenvoice also announced that they had a festival in the works in New Jersey as well and Tollett has further alluded that his eye may have been drawn south to Mexico for yet another festival..well, maybe.

These follow closely on the heels of successful debut last year of Stagecoach, a two-day country-oriented affair held just a month after Coachella and also staged by Goldenvoice and AEG. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
