NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) —
UJA-Federation of New York Entertainment, Media & Communications Division and Music for Youth will host the 2007 Music Visionary of the Year Luncheon honoring Clive Davis, Chairman & CEO, BMG Label Group on July 26 at 11:30 a.m. at The Pierre (Fifth Avenue at 61st Street).
Jennifer Hudson, Academy Award-winning actress and Arista recording artist, will perform. Elvis Duran, Z100 Morning personality, will serve as master of ceremonies.
Hundreds of leaders from the worlds of music, entertainment, communications and business will gather to honor Davis at the premier philanthropic event. Among those paying tribute are Luncheon Chairs Fred Davis, Daniel Glass and Charles Goldstuck, and Journal Chairs Tom Corson and Richard Palmese.
"Clive's long history of philanthropy is unmatched and his generosity is truly an inspiration to our community," says Goldstuck, president & COO, BMG Label Group and past UJA-Federation Music Visionary honoree. "Clive remains steadfast in his commitment to improve the lives of those in need."
Davis and his family are longtime supporters of UJA-Federation's vital work and the strengthening of New York's Jewish community. A portion of the proceeds will benefit music education support and enhance music programs for New York's underprivileged youth.
