Clear Channel Radio Helps Expand Concert Series

(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The city of Palmdale in North Los Angeles County has inked a three-year sponsorship with Clear Channel Radio that will expand its Starlight summer concert series at the 7,000-capacity amphitheater being constructed at Marie Kerr Park and host seven other outdoor events annually. The amphitheater is expected to be ready in July 2005.

Under the agreement Clear Channel Radio will provide the city $50,000 a year for the next three years; the city is expanding it free Starlight concert series from three to six.

Past concerts have included Eddie Money, Village People, Grass Roots and Tracy Byrd.
