Chili Peppers To Give A Big Hello to Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Red Hot Chili Peppers have been announced as the headlining act for CBS Radio affiliate WFAN's “Big Hello to Brooklyn” show at the Barclays Center on Saturday, February 1, 2014, the day before Super Bowl, XLVIII.

Other acts on the bill include New Politics, MS MR, J Roddy Walston & the Business and Basic Vacation. Tickets go onslae on December 20th through Ticketmaster and the Barclays Center website.

The performance will serve as a warmup for the Peppers, who are set for a busy festival season in 2014, and recently announced a headlining set at the 7107 International Music Festival over the weekend of February 22-23, marking the group’s first show in the Philippines.

“We’re not on tour right now,” Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith said during an interview on WFAN. “We’ve taken a little time off, but this is a big event, it’s a very exciting weekend for New York.” – Staff Writers
