Cecilia Carter New Head Of Rhythm & Blues Foundation

Cecilia Carter has been named executive director of the Rhythm & Blues Foundation. Most recently, she was senior VP of communications for GE Capital subsidiary GE Small Business Solutions. She has a corporate background in public relations, marketing, and advertising. Carter's duties include overseeing the annual Pioneer Awards and its medical and financial assistance endowments the Motown/Universal Music Group Fund and the Gwendolyn B. Gordy Fuqua Fund.
