The original Duran Duran lineup—vocalist Simon LeBon, keyboardist Nick Rhodes, guitarist Andy Taylor, drummer Roger Taylor and bassist John Taylor—have reformed. The most recent band configuration included guitarist Warren Cuccurullo, who now has reformed his former group Missing Persons.

Promoter Larry Stein is producing a Latin music series at New York's Apollo Theatre. Kicking off June 22 with Ruben Blades, the 10- to 20 shows comprising Latin Nites At The Apollo will run through November.

Madison Square Garden President/CEO Dave Checketts resigned from the top post he held since 1994. Checketts oversaw the Garden's sports teams: the NBA's New York Knicks, NHL's Rangers and Women's NBA's Liberty. He was also in charge of the MSG Network and Fox Sports New York cable sports networks, now units of Cablevision Systems Corp. He decision comes after the Rangers missed the playoffs for their fourth straight season.
