OSLO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Organizers for the Scandinavian music conference By:Larm have announced the location of the 2008 event as Oslo, Norway. Organizers for the conference, which travels annually to different Norwegian cities, had avoided Oslo as a host city as the music industry is largely located there. By hosting the event elsewhere, organizers had hoped to provide attendees a chance to experience the music scene away from their traditional stomping grounds but as the focus of the conference has become more international, organizers for the event felt that it was time to shine the spotlight on Scandinavia’s most active music scenes.

The 2008 event is scheduled for February 21 – 23 at the Royal Christiania hotel and will feature a full roster of events for music industry pros. In addition to live performances by dozens of hot and rising artists with special attention paid to performers of Scandinavian origin.
