Buddy Lee Attractions Agents Feted With Awards

Joan Saltel, senior vice president of Buddy Lee Attractions, and Jeremy Palmer, an agent at Buddy Lee Attractions, were honored with awards at the annual International Entertainment Buyers Association convention October 8th.

Saltel was presented the Harry "Hap" Peebles Founders Award 2001, the association's highest honor presented to a member in long-standing who has contributed to the concept, growth, development and longevity of IEBA. Last year's recipient, entertainer Leroy Van Dyke presented the award.

Saltel has been an agent at Buddy Lee Attractions for 27 years and oversees the fair and special events department. Over the years, she has worked with Hank Williams, Jr., Willie Nelson, George Strait, Garth Brooks and the Dixie Chicks, among many others.

Palmer, who books casinos and clubs for the western United States, received the "New Talent Agent of the Year" award. "We're thrilled and very proud of Jeremy Palmer on his award win," says Tony Conway, president of Buddy Lee Attractions. "He's the best of the best in the new generation of talent agents."

Palmer is the grandson of Country Hall of Famer George Morgan and the nephew of country singer Lorrie Morgan.
