Bruce Allen Awarded A Diamond Jubilee Medal

NORTH VANCOUVER, BC (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Storied Canadian manager Bruce Allen is among a small group of Canadians to be awarded a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.

The award is given to citizens and permanent residents of Canada to "honour significant contributions and achievements by Canadians." The Diamond Jubilee Medal commemorates the 60th Anniversary of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.

Allen has managed some of Canada's top artists, including Michael Bublé, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Bryan Adams. In 1985, Allen led the charge for Ethiopian famine relief with Northern Lights, a Canadian 'supergroup.'
