
NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) – Chita Rivera the two-time Tony Winner and Kennedy Center honoree, has had to postpone her scheduled performances at the Café Carlyle on January 12-23, 2016.
According to the Associated Press, the singer/actress was injured after a fall over the Christmas holiday.
Rivera’s original dates were set for January 12-23 of 2016 at the New York City venue. Her new dates will be April 19-30, as long as her recovery is complete.
Rivera stated on Facebook: "I sincerely regret that I must postpone my engagement at the Café Carlyle due to an injury I sustained over the Christmas holiday. I was very much looking forward to making my debut January 12-23 at this famed room in New York City. I am so sorry to disappoint my fans, however we have rescheduled the engagement for April 19-30 and I'll be back!
My thanks to everyone for their kind support and get well wishes. It really means a lot to me."
