Bob Schneider’s Win And Tour


AUSTIN, TX (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Austin hometown hero Bob Schneider won big at this year’s Austin Music Awards in top categories such as Musician of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year. With all winners being announced this week, it’s a total of 10 wins for Schneider and the members of his band, Lonelyland, along with one for his Lovely Creatures producer, Dwight Baker. The Awards ceremony will be held tomorrow where Schneider will be in attendance following a full week of Austin performances during the SXSW Music Festival. Tonight he will be performing at Threadgills followed by a kickoff set at Rachael Ray’s Feedback Party on Saturday morning at Stubbs.


Bob Schneider who released ‘Lovely Creatures’ before the awards. The full length album features “40 Dogs (Like Romeo & Juliet);” Schneider’s most played single to date at radio. The Robert Rodriguez directed video for the track will be released in the coming weeks and co-stars actress Kat Dennings (Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist).

Schneider will be back on the road next week for an East Coast tour and will head to the UK in April for his first ever overseas tour.
