BMW's New Apps Include Rhapsody & TuneIn

MUNICH, Bavaria (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — German automaker BMW has announced the addition of four audio applications to its onboard 'infotainment' system.

The new approved application partners include Rhapsody, TuneIn, Glympse and Audible. Rhapsody and TuneIn are both music services – Rhapsody focuses on streaming and is competitor to Spotify while TuneIn is a digital 'net radio service. Glympse provides location-based services and Audible, now an Amazon company, is one of the largest purveyors of audio books.

The new BMW apps will allow users to browse their library through their BMW, listen to internet radio and streamed music and share their location with friends and colleagues.
