Bestival Announces Nautical Theme For 2013

LONDON (VIP NEWS) –Bestival has revealed that next year's festival will have a nautical theme.

The festival will be celebrating its 10th year with an HMS Bestival theme.

Bestival's founder, DJ Rob da Bank, has made some suggestions for 2013's fancy dress outfits:

"All the nice girls love a sailor and all the boys love a mermaid. Think deckhands, anchors, beach parties, Moby Dick, tattooed ladies, Titanic, shipwrecks, Hawaii, Treasure Island, rum bars in scuzzy ports, message in a bottle, the crow's nest, sea legends, monster breakers and tall tales of life on the ocean waves. Nautical but nice!"

Early bird tickets are currently on sale for the event, with prices fixed at 2012 rates. Bestival are also offering a weekly payment plan for tickets.

Next year's event will take place from September 5-8, 2013 at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle Of Wight.

To celebrate a decade of putting on the festival – which usually brings the UK's summer festival season to a close – the weekender will kick off with a Bestival Classics opening night party on September 5, headed up by Rob da Bank and The Cuban Brothers with 'extra special guests'.

This September's Bestival saw sets from Stevie Wonder, Florence and the Machine and New Order. The 2012 theme was Wildlife. –According to NME.com
