Aztec Entertainment is gearing up for Aztlan Fest 2002 which showcases some of the top and emerging Chicano/Latino talent in the US.
Kicking off in June, the tour will stop in Los Angeles, San Jose, San Diego and for the first time in Texas and Illinois. In Los Angeles, the festival will present over 40 artists on three stages, making it the largest Chicano/Latino rock fest in the country.
"Our goal is to promote the often overlooked Chicano rock and rap genres," said Aztec Entertainment President Mario Cobián. "In doing so we've created one of the most unique festivals in the country — reaching young and informed Bilingual and Bicultural Chicano audiences."
Last year's festival produced a special edition compilation CD, Los Aztlan Warriors, from Kool Arrow Records of the most popular songs performed at the festival.
