Arcade Fire Parts Ways With Longtime Manager Scott Rodger

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Canadian indie rock band Arcade Fire has ended its working relationship with longtime manager Scott Rodger.

In a statement obtained by Billboard, Maverick Mangement's Scott Rodger said: "It’s been the greatest pleasure of my professional career working and collaborating with Arcade Fire and everyone on their team. They are by far the most important band of their generation and have produced some of the most inspiring music of any time. It’s with the deepest love and respect that I wish the band all the very best in their future endeavors and very much look forward to seeing what they come up with next.”

Rodger has guided the band's career since they were performing on the club circuit and helped them develop into the major touring artist they are today.

Rodger joined Maverick as one of the Live Nation-owned management company's founders along with Guy Oseary, Caron Veazey, Gee Roberson, Cortez Bryant, Larry Rudolph, Adam Leber and Clarence Spalding when it launched in 2014. Prior to joining Maverick, he ran his own company, Quest Management, which he founded in 1995.

Arcade Fire is currently on the road in support of their 5th studio album "Everything Now" which was released last summer. The album's title single "Everything Now" hit #1 on the Billboard Adult Alternative Songs airplay chart, the first Arcade Fire track to ever hit such a lofty peak.
