Andréa Wiktorsson Named Chair For Svensk Live

NORRKÖPING, Sweden (VIP-NEWS) — Andréa Wiktorsson has been named chairwoman of the Swedish promoters’ association Svensk Live.

At the Svensk Live Annual General Meeting in Norrköping on Wednesday, Andréa Wiktorsson was appointed as new Chairman following Per Alexanderson. Andréa is the CEO and booker of Storsjöyran Festival.

The live music business in Sweden is booming. In 2016, live music in Sweden traded SEK 5.5 billion and is the fastest growing part of the music industry. At the same time, many pop organizers struggle with financial challenges, so working for better conditions must be a priority issue next year, says Andréa Wiktorsson.

Svensk Live has around 200 members drawn from concert organizers, festivals, clubs, music associations, cultural centers and theme parks throughout the country.
