Alex Hodges Inducted Into The Georgia Music Hall Of Fame

ATLANTA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — On October 14th Nederlander Concerts Alex Hodges joined Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush, 38 Special, songwriter Gary Rossington, Maestro Robert Spano and Atlanta’s teenage sensation Riley Biederer to be inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame.

The induction took place during the 34th Annual Georgia Music Hall of Fame Awards Concert and Show at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Georgia and the inductees were selected by Friends of Georgia Music Festival for their contributions to Atlanta's social scene.

Hodges oversees marketing, programming and operations for all of Nederlander's venues, including Greek Theatre and the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles, the Santa Barbara Bowl, City National Grove of Anaheim, and the San Jose Civic among others. Prior to joining Nederlander, Hodges was Executive Vice President at the House of Blues before it was sold to Live Nation as well as its predecessor, Universal Concerts and MCA Concerts since 1994. Hodges also founded the Paragon and Empire Agencies and spent a tenure at ICM, where he was Senior Vice President in charge of the West Coast music and live performance departments. Hodges also worked as a personal manager for artists including Gregg Allman and Stevie Ray Vaughan, whom he repped until Vaughn's untimely death.

“It is an honor to be inducted alongside such talented musicians and luminaries in the music industry,” said Hodges. “Georgia is my home state and always will be. I’m grateful for my Georgia roots, which led me to work with legends such as Otis Redding and Charlie Daniels and continue to provide me with strength and resolve today.” – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
