AUCKLAND, NZ (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Pop superstar Christina Aguilera has cancelled two shows in New Zealand, following the cancellation of two in Australia last week after falling ill.
Aguilera has been diagnosed with a viral upper respiratory tract infection, with a high fever and abnormal coughing, according to concert promoter Frontier Touring Company.
The singer is also rumored to be pregnant with husband Jordan Bratman’s baby.
A statement from Aguilera read: “I would like to apologize once again to all of my fans here in New Zealand for having to cancel my last two shows of my tour.
“This is my first time in your beautiful country and I have really been looking forward to performing for you all. Unfortunately, I caught a bad flu virus and have no been able to recover in time.
