AEG Renewing HoB Bid?

A report in Denver's Rocky Mountain News indicates that Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) has renewed its bid to buy a majority share of House of Blues Concerts.

Phil Anschutz and his Concerts West partner Irving Azoff reportedly offered to buy HoB for around $180 million a few months ago but was unsuccessful. The paper also says that a $100 million line of credit HoB needs has yet to materialize making the new AEG bid more tempting.

HoB could not be reached for comment.
