AEG Moving L.A. Venues To AXS

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — AEG is continuing their gradual roll-out of their AXS ticketing in North America, announcing this week that their Los Angeles venues, including their flagship Staples Center arena will make the switch.

Club Nokia and The Nokia Theatre will also be moving to AXS, bimping the total number of AEG venues using the properiety ticketing service up to twenty four.

The first show at the Staples to be sold through AXS will be the opening date on Beyonce's upcoming tour, which kicks off on June 28th at the Staples Center. Ironically, the tour is being promoted by AEG rival Live Nation, who operate AXS primary competitor, Ticketmaster.
