AEG Live Inks Exclusive Deal With New Texas Sports/Entertainment Facility

(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Frisco Soccer & Entertainment Center (FSEC) in Frisco, Texas (north of Dallas) and AEG LIVE have finalized a five-year agreement where AEG LIVE will be the exclusive music and concert booking agent for FSEC. FSEC, home of soccer team FC Dallas, is scheduled for a spring 2005 opening and will have a concert-configuration capacity of 27,000 seats. AEG Live expects to present eight to 12 concert a year.

“While the main focus of the facility will be on the sport of soccer, the Frisco Soccer & Entertainment Center will provide an intimate, fan-friendly concert atmosphere,” said John Wagner, president, Hunt Sports Group. “With AEG LIVE, FSEC can provide the ultimate entertainment experience with the hottest acts and the most unique stadium configuration in the United States.”

AEG LIVE’s regional office in Dallas will oversee concert activities.
