2nd Annual Initiative At The Intrepid Set For Sept. 20th


NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Alliance for Veteran Support (AVS) is making preparations for the second annual Initiative at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum honoring the U.S. veterans community.

The beneift, scheduled for September 20th, 2012 at 8PM, will feature headliner performances by Grammy-Award winning R&B artist Ne-Yo and alternative rock group Third Eye Blind as well as a keynote address by General Wesley K. Clark (Ret.). Funds raised by the initiative will go to support a number of worthwhile efforts, including t The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, Wall Street Warfighters Foundation, the American Widows Project, the Center for Veterans’ Mental Health within the Program for Anxiety and Traumatic Stress Studies at the Weill Cornell Medical College’s Department of Psychiatry, and the Veteran/Amputee Skin Regeneration Project at the Department of Dermatology at John Hopkins Medicine.
