ASCAP Names Brooke Eplee To Senior BizDev Role

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers announced on Monday that Brooke Eplee has been named Senior Vice President, Strategy and Business Development.

Eplee’s portfolio at ASCAP includes new business development and strategic partnerships. She will report to SCAP Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy & Digital Officer Nicholas Lehman, and will focus on ASCAP’s current modernization process, including developing new revenue streams.

“PROs are fundamental to solving some of the most challenging scale and data issues facing the music industry, and ASCAP is pushing the performing rights sector forward in so many ways,” said Eplee. “I am excited to serve our member needs and help advance the music industry toward its next chapter.”

Eplee most recently served as Vice President, Business Development at music video streaming VEVO, where she helped to reformulate the company’s monetization and content distribution.

Prior to that, Eplee served as Senior Director of Global Business Development & Strategy at Sony Music Entertainment, overseeing partner relationships across Sony’s global digital business.

She has also held positions at Nokia, Bain Capital Partners, and Chatham Partners. Eplee has a B.A. from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
