SAO PAULO (CelebrityAccess) – According to MBW, it looks like Amazon Music’s streaming service and online music store is set to launch in Brazil.
The company is currently looking to hire an experienced Head of Digital Music who will be responsible for hiring and developing a local team based in Sao Paulo, and for rolling out the streaming service across Latin America’s largest market.
But, competition in the region could prove steep. Amazon rivals Spotify launched in Brazil back in 2014 while Apple Music touched down following their global launch in 2016.
Amazon Music’s on-demand Unlimited streaming tier is currently available in 28 countries.
