NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess) — Country Music Hall of Famers Alabama have been forced to postpone all remaining dates of their 50th Anniversary Tour while the group’s frontman Randy Owen seeks medical care.

According to a statement from the band, doctors have advised Owen to rest and recover as he deals with ongoing complications with cluster migraines and vertigo.

“The ’50th Anniversary Tour’ has been very special to us. The support of the fans and their energy at all of our shows has led to some of the most fun we’ve ever had onstage. As disappointed as myself, Randy, and Jeff are to have to postpone this tour for all of our incredible fans, we know that Randy’s recovery is what is most important for everyone at this time,” Alabama’s bass player and vocalist Teddy Gentry said in a statement on Wednesday.

“We would like to thank our fans, promoters, and venues and we look forward to seeing you all soon,” Gentry added.

Alabama’s next scheduled show was to have taken place on August 23rd at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich, with dates scheduled through November 23rd when the tour was slated to wrap at Wicomico Civic Center in Salisbury, MD.

As of yet, no rescheduled performances have been announced, but an updated schedule expected in the coming weeks.
