NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — More than a year after announcing the venue, City Winery has finally revealed that their new flagship location in New York will open its doors to the public for the first time on October 15th.

Located at Pier 57 in Hudson River Park, City Winery New York features more 32,000 square feet of floor space across multiple floors that encompasses a 350-seat concert hall and a smaller, 150-capacity loft, allowing for two performances at the same time.

City Winery New York also offers one of the largest restaurant spaces in the city as well as private dining options such as a pizza bar, and a coffee roasting station.

The New York outlet of City Winery also includes on on-location winemaking facility, complete with a barrel storage room and a wine cellar with more than 1,200 selections.

City Winery New York has already had a soft opening for its VinoFile members that featured surprise live music performances over the weekend from Jill Hennessy on Saturday and David Broza the following day.

With the pandemic still in full swing, City Winery New York will be operating at limited capacity, with 200 socially distanced outdoor seats and 70 indoors.

In light of the ongoing pandemic, City Winery will also implement a contactless temperature check and wellness questionnaire for guests and has installed a special air filtration system that is typically used in hospitals and nursing homes.

Additional safety precautions include enhanced sanitation protocols and gloves and masks for staff.

“I launched the City Winery brand in a major economic downturn and now I am launching our new flagship during a global pandemic. No matter what happens in the world, City Winery will remain a place for people to come and enjoy the small pleasures in life like food, wine, music, and community,” stated Michael Dorf, founder and CEO.

“I am looking forward to opening our greatest version of City Winery ever, in my home New York City. The goal is to give my neighbors a much-needed feeling of normalcy and offer a safe dining experience where we can escape, even if just for a night. You never know who may just jump on stage and start playing!” Dorf added.
