PHOENIX, AZ (CelebrityAccess) — The downtown Phoenix concert venue formerly known as Comerica Theatre will now be called Arizona Federal Theatre under the terms of a new naming rights deal between Live Nation and Arizona Federal Credit Union.
The 17-year-old theater first opened as the Dodge Theatre in 2002 and renamed the Comercia Theatre in 2010 as part of a naming rights deal with the Dallas-based financial services company Comerica.
Since it opened, the 5,000-capacity theater has hosted more than 2,000 music, comedy, family and theatrical shows with over 4 million fans attending, including everything from concerts to MMA championships.
“We’re excited to add Live Nation to our growing list of partners, including Phoenix Rising, Arizona Humane Society, and The 100 Club of Arizona, among many others,” said Ronald Westad, president/CEO of Arizona Federal Credit Union. “Together we’re committed to creating a vibrant and active community here in the Valley.”

The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
