UNCASVILLE, CT (CelebrityAccess) — Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment announced that veteran live entertainment exec Dario Johnson has been named as the organization’s Director of Venue Management & Talent.
In his new role, Johnson will help to maintain MGE’s current programming and look to expand content offerings in the new markets that have recently been added to MGE’s venue portfolio.
Johnson brings more than 20 years of experience to the new role, and spent 2 decades as a booking manager at Live Nation, including working with promoter-legend Jimmy Koplik.
MGE also announced that Greg Romeyn has been promoted to the role of Director of Sports & Entertainment for MGE Properties.
Romeyn will oversee the planning and administration of programming at the company’s Uncasville headquarters, as well as the company’s other properties.
Romeyn has been on the Mohegan team for a decade, holding numerous roles in Food & Beverage, Public Relations, Special Events, and Entertainment divisions.
The new appointments follow last week’s news of the promotion of Tom Cantone to President of Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment Worldwide.
