NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess) — On Tuesday, WME announced that five agents in the country music division of its Nashville offices have been elevated to partner at the agency.

The five agents are Abby Wells Baas, Kevin Meads, Braeden Rountree, Barrett Sellers, and Nate Towne.

All five agents launched their careers at the William Morris Agency and remained with the agency after it rebranded itself following its 2009 merger with Endeavor.

Abby Wells Baas began her career as an assistant to former WMA Nashville Co-Head Rick Shipp 23 years and became an agent through William Morris’ agent training program. She currently oversees bookings for WME’s country roster in the Central Midwestern U.S.

Apart from her work as a talent exec, Wells Baas is involved in philanthropic and socially conscious endeavors and recently traveled to Kenya as part of a UNICEF delegation sent to observe and provide aid for the Kakuma Refugee Camp. She also serves as a mentor at a Nashville inner city-school.

Kevin Meads joined William Morris in 2006 and within two years had been minted as an agent. In his current role, Mead handles bookings for WME’s country roster for large venues in the Southeastern U.S. In his spare time, Meads serves as a mentor for students at Napier Enhanced Option Elementary school and consults on music and arts programs for schools in the Nashville area.

Braeden Rountree joined William Morris in 2006 after stints in the label world that included roles in publishing, radio promotion, management and record label operations. Now, at WME, he works with clients that include Kane Brown, Ryan Hurd, The Marcus King Band, Dylan Schneider, and Granger Smith. Outside the office, Rountree’s volunteer work includes time with The Nashville Rescue Mission, The Ronald McDonald House, Napier Elementary School, and Habitat for Humanity, in addition to raising money for the T.J. Martell Foundation.

Barrett Sellers joined William Morris Agency as an assistant way back in the dark days 2001 after graduating from Nashville’s Vanderbilt University. Now, with WME, he handles major venue bookings in the Southwestern US for the agency’s country music roster. In addition to his work at WME, Sellers is a mentor at a Nashville inner city-school and spends time helping the W. O. Smith Music School, which makes affordable, quality music instruction available to children from low-income families.

Nate Towne is a former mailroom alumnus who joined William Morris in 2006 and was minted as an agent in 2009. He currently oversees bookings for arenas, amphitheaters, theaters, PACS and casinos in the Northeast and consults on strategy for WME’s country roster.

Towne also devotes his time to work with students at Napier Enhanced Option Elementary school and volunteers his time and resources for various charitable causes including UNICEF, Habitat for Humanity, the Ronald McDonald House, the TJ Martell Foundation, Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital and Make-a-Wish of Middle Tennessee.
