MUNICH, Germany (CelebrityAccess) –German ticketing and event company CTS Eventim announced positive results for the third fiscal quarter of 2019, with revenue up by 19.7 percent to €378.0 for the period.
EBITDA, or earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization improved by 42.3 percent to €65.2 million for the quarter, when measured against the same period in 2018.
Breakouts showed that ticketing revenue grew by 14.5 percent to €106.6 million and normalized EBITDA improved by 22.8 percent to €44.8 million in the third quarter.
Revenue from the company’s live entertainment operations improved as well, and Eventim posted revenue of €276.9 million for the quarter, up by 21.7. EBITDA for the segment increased by 118.4 percent to EUR
20.4 million year-over-year.
For the first nine months of 2019, Eventim’s revenue topped 1bn EUR, up by 16.5 percent. Live Entertainment revenue was up by an impressive 19.0 percent to €781.4 million, while revenue from the company’s ticketing segment improved by 11% year-over-year to €306.9 million.
