(CelebrityAccess) — American country music singer-songwriter Sturgill Simpson announced he will be doing his part to support America’s armed forces with his upcoming tour.
Simpson announced that 100% of the proceeds from his upcoming series of shows in the U.S. will go to benefit the Special Forces Foundation, a group that provides assistance to veterans and their families.
The tour kicks off on Sept. 29th with a performance at the Troubadour in Los Angeles and runs through Oct. 8th when he’s booked to perform at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ.
Simpson’s then scheduled to head across the pond in early 2020 for series of shows in Europe and the UK, starting on Jan. 21st at the Vega in Copenhagen, and wrapping on February 1st at Vicar Street in Dublin.
Simpson will be touring in support of his upcoming new album “Sound & Fury” which is set to be released on conjunction with a sci-fi animated movie coming out on Netflix this Friday.
