(CelebrityAccess) – The Rolling Stones wrapped their three-year, three-leg No Filter Tour on August 30, 2019, at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, and the numbers are now in. According to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore, The No Filter Tour grossed a record $415.6 million and sold 2,290,871 tickets.
Here’s how it all breaks down:
Leg 1:
The Stones kicked off the tour back in September of 2017, playing 14 stadium shows in Europe. The first leg grossed $120 million and included a three-night stint at the U Arena in Paris ($18.5 million).
Leg 2:
The band returned to Europe for another 14 shows between May 17 and July 8, 2018. That leg grossed $117.8 million and included a record-breaking doubleheader at London Stadium, which remains the highest-grossing show in the venue’s history ($20.5 million).
Leg 3:
Finally, The Stones played 16 shows in North America, beginning on June 21, 2019, at Chicago’s Soldier Field, and wrapping up on August 30 in Miami. This final leg grossed a $177.8 million. According to Billboard, The Stones averaged a whopping $11.1 million per show in 2019.
In all, the band’s $415.6 million total makes the No Filter Tour the eighth highest grossing tour of all time. It also makes The Rolling Stones the first act to gross more than $400 million on two separate tours. The band’s A Bigger Bang Tour (2005-07) grossed $558 million.
